Get started with HobbyDeal—the easiest way to buy, sell, and trade collectibles.

Create Your Account

1. Go to /auth/sign-up.
2. Enter your email and password.
3. Confirm your email to activate your account.

Tip: You can also sign in with supported OAuth providers if enabled.

Set Up Your Profile

• Add a display name and short bio.
• Set your home country and default currency.
• Turn on two‑factor authentication in Settings → Security.

Add Items to Your Collection

1. Navigate to Collection → Add Item.
2. Enter item details:
   • Title, category, set/series, year
   • Condition and quantity
   • Photos (front/back, close‑ups)
3. Save to your inventory or toggle List for sale/trade to make it public.

Create Your First Listing or Trade Post

• Choose a pricing mode:
  • Fixed price
  • Trade only (accept offers)
  • Auction (if enabled)
• Set shipping options, handling time, and location.
• Publish. Your item will now appear in search and your profile shop.

Make or Receive Offers

• Use Make Offer on item pages to propose a price or trade.
• Chat securely inside the offer to confirm details.
• When both parties accept, the offer locks and the transaction proceeds.

Complete the Transaction

If you're the seller

1. Print the shipping label (where supported) or enter a tracking number.
2. Package securely. Use sleeves, top loaders, or hard cases.
3. Mark as shipped. Buyers get notified automatically.

If you're the buyer

1. Track shipment from the order page.
2. Confirm delivery and leave a review.

Safety Essentials

• Only transact through HobbyDeal—never send payments off‑platform.
• Ship with tracking and insurance for high‑value items.
• Keep chats on record. Report suspicious behavior via the order page.
